US Xbox One S to Germany

Hello all. I recently came to Germany from the US and I brought my Xbox One S with me. I took all the cords, my external storage, even got plug adapters. I plugged everything in and it isn't displaying on the TV. I have tried everything I can think of. When I got here, one of the two HDMI input slots I have was occupied buy a Fire Stick, which works! Sadly, I plugged the Xbox One into the available HDMI slot and it did not display on the TV. Only 1 HDMI channel shows on the TV, anyways, even if there are two things plugged in. Funny thing is, when I plug the Xbox One cord into the slot normally occupied by the fire stick, it also doesn't work. So the fire stick only works with one slot and the Xbox works with neither. The Xbox turns on, but it just doesnt display on the TV. I only have an HDMI2 channel, instead of a 1 and a 2. I am not sure if this is an Xbox problem or just something about European TVs I do not understand or something. I tried uploading pictures but, of course, for some reason, they failed to upload. I would love if someone could help me figure out why my Xbox is not being displayed. Thanks.

Hello SebastianJones, the HDMI is standart all over the world and there should be no problem connecting your Xbox to a TV in Europe.

Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to your Xbox One output, and when connecting to the TV's HDMI in, make sure it's enabled and set up on the TV.

The only thing I can imagine is that your equipment is not automatic bivolt.

In Germany the voltage is 230v, so all equipment has to be 110/230v automatic or only 230v, if it is 110v will not work.

I found the problem. I did not realize I had the HDMI cable plugged into Input on both devices. So stupid. Anyways thank you!!

i have the problem too, but i have 1 xbox one s and xbox one (normal, no S no X) and game work on my old xbox one. germany

One and two yes. As for one. As long as LIVE is XBOX ONE ready in that country. As two gose. Only the games will work. Movies in the other hand is a big flat no. As for there There a charger and play for the one. As for four. It gose by your XBOX LIVE region
your profile is set at. And as five go. Yes you can make one. That how some achievement junkeys get some there gamerscore up.

a regular Xbox One console (or Xbox 360 console) will need a proper power supply that meet the requirements for the specific power specifications used.

For example Germany uses 230 volts, while US use 110. Which is most likely why the console doesn't work.

If it's an Xbox One S or Xbox One X, they have an internal power supply which as far as I know should work in any region.
