US X1 in Sweden and discs!

1. I have a Xbox one I bought in USA and now the disc player is making trouble. I have to do a reset before changing disc. How do I get service?

2. I don't want discs, hate them, can I get them exchanged for codes?

Who here is looking forward to Destiny?

I'm looking forward to it. Don't really know much about it honestly, but I'm a fan of Bungie so I trust it will be good. I had it pre-ordered for the 360 but changed it to Xbox One since both Destiny and X1 is being released in September. (Yep, us unlucky
bastards here in Sweden have to wait until September for x1)

Buying games in another Store

Hi,

I'm living in Sweden and I'm wondering if i could change my location to US, buy a game and the switch back to Sweden and play it as usual?

I'm wondering because the games in the US Store are cheaper then they are in Sweden.

Hi!

From what I gather the console and games (disc) are region free. So to play you shouldn't have to switch region.

Downloadable content and services can/will be locked to a region. In that case you might still not be able to access them if you switch region. I'll just be clear that I have no experience of how this works on the One but on 360, region locked content requires
a match between your account region and your physical region.

I don't really know if switching region to somewhere you're not located will help you or cause you more grief.

2. Official info on changing region, please read the info carefully. You won't be able to change more than once every three months:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

Live on Åland Islands (between Sweden and Finland). I have been able to download everything on marketplace.

But not this game.

Better not buy the X1 then if i live in the "wrong" region then i guess.

My first X1 had a disc drive issue, wouldn't accept the disc.... haven't used a DD since...
