US X1 in Europe (Netherlands)

Hi, If i bring back a US Xbox One to the Netherlands, Will i need a eu 220v powerbrick for it to safely work or can i put a powerconverter 220v -> 110v in between the US brick and contact? Thanks!

Europe Power Supply Xbox One from USA

I have lived in the Netherlands for 6 months now and brought my Xbox One from the US. I can't use it because of the difference of Volts. Can someone share a link on where I can buy a power supply that works in Europe (Netherlands)?

 

It is recommended to purchase the proper power brick for the console as an adapter could cause issues ranging from just not working properly to actually frying the console.

 

Thanks, not going to risk it with an adapter then. Are the EU powerbricks sold separately at retailers or do I have to call MSFT support and order one through them? (console won't release until the 5th of September in The Netherlands as well..)

 

Power bricks aren't currently being sold at retail; Support should be able to help you out though.
