US Hard Drive in a UK System?

I have an Xbox 360 "Slim" model with a 250gb hard drive (the one released in a bundle with Black Ops 1)

Can I just whip out the drive and slap it in a UK 360 Slim?

Is there region lock on the hard drive? Is that even a thing?

Question?

Hello i noticed that the US marketplace has "Jurassic Park: The Game" on there games on demand section. My question is? Since this game isnt out in the UK where I live would it be possible to create a US account and buy it and play it via my UK account since
the game will be stored on my hard drive.

Xbox One S

Uk guy here is anyone as annoyed as me with regards to the microsoft store website uk side I want to reserve the Xbox One S 500gb as I refuse to pay the inflated prices just to get an extra 1.5tb when I have a external 3tb hard drive anyway I just found the uk store only has the 2tb xbox one S while the US site has all three available for pre order!! has anyone found somewhere to pre order in the UK gamestop have stopped taking preorders.

Only certain games have region locks, accessories including Xbox 360 hard drives do not. So yes, you can use a U.S hard drive in a UK Xbox 360 console.

No you can't use an external only

The 360 requires at least one drive to be a system drive. The operating system or at least parts of it need to be stored on this.

A system drive can only be an internal drive or a USB drive formatted as a system drive. USB system drives can only be up to 32GB.

So you basically have 2 choices.

Either buy another official xbox 360 hard drive which is the recommended option

Or use both a 32GB Flash drive formatted as a system drive as well as a USB hard drive.

You were using the same hard drive on all of those systems? Did you try clearing the hard drive cache?

Delete the corrupted data, in your storage device, go to system items and find marketplace system data. Delete it, clear system cache and then try downloading it again.

Before redownloading, an extra thing to try (if you are using a hard drive) is to reseat your hard drive.

To do this, turn your xbox off and remove the hard drive (
support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive ). Turn it back on WITHOUT the hard drive, once its on, turn it off and put the hard drive back in/on.

Yes, it seems redundant, but it actually resets the part of your xbox that reads your hard drive and can help prevent it from corrupting data.
