    It depends on the code. They can be region locked so it's best to only purchase them for your region.

    First of all, thank you very much for your answers :). Outsider, you confirmed my fears that Xbox 360 is zone-locked... And Senryu you raise an interesting point with the Xbox One being zone-free !

    Although (no offence meant) are you 100% sure about all that ? I just want to make sure I will not buy an Xbox One here in the US and not be able to buy any game in France when I'll be back there...

    I am pretty sure that there will be some kind of issue with this. I know many things are region locked, and I would expect that you will have problems playing games bought in a different country on a US xbox or vice versa.
