URGENT! Paid for GTA IV, never recieved it!

Just 2 Hours ago I made a purchase for GTA IV, seeing it was on offer. Account got banned just few minutes ago and my game hasn't finished downloading!! What the heck? Did I just get robbed by microsoft or what, I want refund or the game.

well im going to have to send it to microsoft to get it repaired thats 80 or so euros after iv paid 60 for GTA 5.............it does my head in

 

GTA V's biggest flaw is...

The game's story is really amazingly easy and short. The GTA IV main game and its DLCs were more challenging for me. In GTA V I never had the desire to use a cheat code. Not even when I had the super brutal police on my tail. This was different in GTA IV...

As I'm not looking forward to online play (GTA IV cured me from that) I feel a bit disappointed now. What they could have done with this world and this engine compared to what was relased. Just a disappointment. Anyway, I had my 50 hours of fun and paid
only €50 for the game so it was still a good value for money. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations. Fell for the hype. Or something.

Problem is that I got banned for 9999 years, I'll surely be dead by then and the game didn't finish downloading. Now I can't sign in to the account and finish download so basically I got effed out of my money. I will make a call to support tomorrow but I
need advice now.

 

Sorry but if your account has been banned then you forfeit anything you've bought from the marketplace,including GTA IV as you bought it before the ban was carried out.

 

No way! So if I would've spent lets just say more than £100 I wouldn't get refund? If so, xbox marketplace is a fraud, I'm making a call to support tomorrwnna go ape [Mod removed] if they say [Mod removed] same!

I've had many problems with xbox live before and they're so bad at providing support that even a blind dog can do better. I pay for xbox thats already slow when new, oh and thats not the end of it.

I guess PS4 here I come... I've been a member of xbox for many years and had multiple but I guess its time xboitsto put an end to this [Mod removed] box. Aww heck I even get free online on playstation.

 

It's not fraud.

It tells you this in the terms & conditions you agreed to when you started your account.

You can try phoning support but it's highly unlikely you'll get a refund.

If you hadn't broken the rules in order to get banned then you wouldn't have this problem.

PlayStation is not free online anymore & the rules are exactly the same there.

 

I'm not aware of anyone who reads the small print. Still total [Mod removed]

 

It is a well known side effect of doing something against the ToU and CoC of the Live service. However, if you would like more information on why the ban happened you should post in the suspensions forums.
