URGENT help required for banned parental account

About 4 years ago my son modified his avatar by turning it green on Xbox 360, resulting in his account being banned permanently. This banned account was the parent account. We called Microsoft at the time but they were unable to do anything with the banned
account and so we created a new account for my son and, lesson learnt, he has happily been using this account for the past 4 years or so on the 360.

He has now purchased an Xbox One and has transferred his account to this. However, he is unable to purchase anything. A message tells him that he does not have permission to make purchases and to change the settings to allow this. However, he is unable to
change the settings as a message tells him that this needs to be done with the parent account.

We have called Support and they have established that my son's account is a child account and is linked to the banned parent account from a few years ago and because this parent account is banned, we are unable to change any of its settings, such as to
allow my son to make purchases with his child account. He did not have this problem whilst using the 360 and was able to make purchases without a problem.

Support have advised that only the Enforcement Team at Microsoft can sort this out and the only way to contact them is via this forum. Therefore please can the Enforcement Team unlink the banned Parent account from my son's account as soon as possible so
that he can make purchases.

Hi there,

I need some urgent help with my Xbox Live account: I am unable to connect to Xbox Live because my account was originally set up with parental control and the parental account linked with my account has now been deactivated. Every time I try to login, I must
accept the new terms and conditions, which requires parental approval and therefore, the username and password of the defunct account. Since the account is no longer in use and the password long forgotten, I have no way of connecting to Xbox Live. Please help!

Urgent help required

To my understanding, the likes and comments that were applied were strictly applied to the pinned screenshot. With it being removed, it's like clearing the slate. There would be no way to reapply those unfortunately.

 

I'm sorry but you were misinformed. The PET are responsible for enforcement issues only. They cannot reinstate accounts nor can they unlink accounts. I'm afraid you will need to contact phone support again. Perhaps you'll be able to get the assistance
you require a second time around.
