    2. Also i am unable to download/redeem gears of war free games code which came after my purchase of gow ultimate ed.
    both errors say same "something went wrong, sorry about that. give it a try later"

    sorted it now, looks like one of my little monkeys completely reprogrammed my denon surround system, never mind, thanks for the help anyway.

    Urgent help needed

    Have you tried switching the sound options (on the Xbox) from "Dolby Digital" to "Stereo" and back again? Apparently there is a bit of a handshaking issue between The console and some 5.1 systems on occasion.

    That's usually the sign of a region issue. If your account region does not match your physical location, or your codes are for a different region than your account, you will get that issue.

    Also make sure you close any other games and apps that are not being used.
    I always turn off the xbox when I go away from it. Then turn it on after i wana play ans no other apps are running.

    Ill try the complete offline mode tho. Ill upload a video on youtube on monday and Ill post it here so you might check it by yourself.

    Ye but I doubt they will borrow me theirs since it will need reformating. Btw. can the internet speed have any effect on playing single player games? Anyway if it could I doubt thats the case cuz ive got optical internet and my download speed is like 60GB/s.

    Internet speed shouldn't have any effect on single player games. have you tried taking your console into offline mode and then seeing if these issues still appear?

    Also make sure you close any other games and apps that are not being used.

    Very strange, maybe you just very sensitive for things like that, dont you think of changing you S model for a X model? S is the modest version so we cant expect much from it.
