    [URGENT] HDMI/DVI help

I am asking this since I am a Mac user and I do not know much about Windows computer structure, etc.

So I will be getting a desktop PC soon and I would like to hook my Xbox 360 and One to it (I use HDMI for TV). I know SOME computer monitors/towers have HDMI and some have DVI. Which is more common to see on recent computer monitors/towers?

If the computer I get has an HDMI:

-Will it most likely work without having to buy an adaptor or whatever?

If the computer I get has a DVI:

-I would get a female-HDMI to male-DVI (just making sure), right?

    :)

How can I use Xbox 360 on MY PC Monitor? (Please Read ALL)

If your xbox has hdmi the get a dvi to hdmi cable or dvi to hdmi converter.

  3. HDMI HELP!!!

Hi, I have 3 HDMI ports on my tv. HDMI / DVI HDMI 2 AND HDMI 3. When using HDMI / DVI i find that it interupts with my picture. When i look on the back of my tv i see the 3 ports labelled DVI HDMI 2 AND HDMI 3 i was using ''DVI'' probably the HDMI cable
is not ment to be plugged into a DVI port? So my question is does DVI not support HDMI? i get a fine picture when i go off the DVI port but i also get a distorted picture every so often. Now i have been using HDMI port 2 and i have had no problems. Anyone
know why i encountered that problem thanks!

Well the problem is you can hook the 360 to the PC without much trouble and stream content from your PC through your console, but you're not going to be able to do that on the X1. The X1 doesn't come with the system player app that came with the 360 because
they are marketing all that content through Xbox Music and Xbox Video. No more networking your system and playing downloads through your console.

    Sad pirate is sad.
