Urgent HDD Transfer help required before Santa gets here

Long story short....broken 360 slim, bought new 360 slim from a friend, want to put old hard drive into new console for the kids tomorrow morning so they can continue with Minecraft.

Pulled the old hard drive out of the old console and plugged it into the new console but the new one doesn't seem to recognize it. Help?

Urgent help required

To my understanding, the likes and comments that were applied were strictly applied to the pinned screenshot. With it being removed, it's like clearing the slate. There would be no way to reapply those unfortunately.

I recently unpinned my pinned screenshot on my feed that had 3k views 103 likes and 26 comments and I repinned it and it wiped everything but the view count how do I recover the likes and comments?

The USB storage is good for storage, yes. There are some games that do require an HDD; I believe you need one for Halo multiplayer, but please consult the individual game for requirements. Also Xbox Original games require a HDD. And as I said before you
can use up to 16gb per device and up to two devices at a time, so you're obviously limited in space compared to a full HDD.

It sounds like USB storage might work for you in this instance, but here's a couple things to consider. If you plan on playing Xbox Original games, games that require a HDD, or want to have more games installed than 32gb without swapping out USB devices, it
might be worth your while to just get the HDD now. Hope this helps, thanks!

Sounds like the HDD is on its way out, if you can see the HDD in the xbox you could get a replacement and transfer them across before it dies completely.

If not then, its just like any other HDD fail, when it goes it goes but you can transfer to another HDD if you put another HDD in and copy the game over.

Thanks Frank. If that's truly the case then Microsoft shouldn't sell the 4GB model... or, should say "Kinect games require both the kinect sensor and a HDD". Literally this is brand new and incompatible with any Kinect games that I've purchased for the
kids (Kinect games say "we need an update before we'll play, but we can't update until you update the console" -- which I can't do without a HDD). Santa Claus looks like a big ol' idiot right now, thanks to XBox. It's all the kids talked about wanting before
Christmas, and now they treat it like an overpriced paperweight.

Sorry for the rant... just frustrated.
