[Urgent] Changing Location

Hello, today i bought Xbox Gift cards on Mexico and tried to redeem it on my American Xbox One but it said something along the lines of wrong region or something like that, after researching i discovered that gift cards are region locked, so i changed my
location and language to mexico/spanish and i was able to redeem it and then i bought Overwatch, My question is, can i change my location and language back to USA/English? will i lose the money i had left? will i be able to play overwatch even if i change
my location back to USA? if the money doesn't transfer to USD, can i just change back to Mexico/Spanish every time i want to buy a game? like, can i change back to USA and then when i want to buy a game i change to mexico, buy the game, then change back to
USA?

And do you think Microsoft could change my Mexican Pesos to USD if i email them?

Changing Location

Sorry to hear about your situation.



However, the only way to change the region (from U.S. to U.K.) would be to do an Account Migration (Sign in to your Microsoft account). Unfortunately, once a region is
set, this is the only way to change it.



But, since this is a new account, it would be easier to create a new GamerTag and put in the correct information there.

Once an account is created the region can not be changed. Your only recourse is to create a new account with the correct region selected.

 

Update: i contacted xbox support and a very helpful person answered all my questions
