    If that does not solve the problem, there might be other solutions we already know of like, uninstall the game, reset the unit, reinstall.

    These are the same things Microsoft Support via phone or chat is going to say if you believe your internet is working fine.

    For network issues, always try hardwired. Always run all network and status tests from the console and note the results.

    Downdetector also tracks many game servers. EA has their status on their website by game. Almost all games using servers do. Also @XboxSupport on twitter is great at reporting status of issues.

    Next the problems are likely DNS or port related.

    For DNS, Livewire keeps an up-to-date list. Most ISPs will try to have you use their DNS, DON'T!

    Most error codes like 0x87e00005 are generic indicating a no-response timeout. The solutions above will always be prescribed.

    Another is with Windows Store issues on the PC (a hard reset does the same on the console).

    [*]Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
    [*]Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.
    [*]The Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.

    Please feel free to review and add, supply alternatives, correct for anything. My hope is this will become high enough quality to post as a feature. I think it should cut down on the the support spam and inaccuracies.
