UPnP not working. Not a router problem

Let’s try to isolate a bit more the problem, for this please try:

A. Connect your console to a completely different Wi-Fi network
For this purpose you can share mobile data via Wi-Fi hotspot and connect the console in that way

B.
go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.

B.1 Try using instead 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary

C.
Clear your MAC address
Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address
Select Clear, restart your console and give it a new try

It depends on your router.

You need to use UPnP and only UPnP.

Port forwarding or DMZ will cause NAT problems on one of the consoles.

Not all routers have UPnP that can work with 2 Xboxes though.

So you should post the make and model number of your router to confirm whether it will work or not.

Yeah but this is the problem, UPnP can be flakey on some routers so if you find it works and then doesn't work it is best to use port forwarding instead of UPnP

Basically I would advise using

UPnP

(if that doesn't work out)

Portforwarding

(if that doesn't work out)

DMZ

In that order

If you connect two xboxes over the same router. you can´t use DMZ or Port Forward.

But I read many times that UPNP can solve this Problem !

Try to use the Option UPNP in your Router. The restart your Router and the your Xbox. Your NAT should be open on both xboxes.

Try to search the newest firmware and use UPNP. If you use UPNP Port Forward AND DMZ have to be disabled because home Routers can´t use UPNP AND DMZ or Port Forward.

Do not forget to restart your Router.

The Xbox One and the 360 are both capable of making use of UPnP to dynamically open ports on a router that supports UPnP. This assumes that the UPnP implementation on the router is one which will work with the Xbox One and 360. While it's possible to manually
