UPnP not successful

I wanted to play Minecraft with my friends but I needed to download a resource pack. So far everything was going smoothly but when it came to downloading it, it stopped and got stuck at 0%. I tried restarting the game and console but that didn't help. I've tried different solutions from online (going to the home page then re-entering the game) but nothing worked. I then went to check my internet connection and found my NAT type to 'moderate' and 'UPnP not successful'. I messed around with the settings and managed to fix my NAT however UPnP still isn't working. I've reset my modem, restarted my console, and changed my port, and checked my modem for updates but nothing has worked. If anyone knows how to fix UPnP error (and how to make Minecraft resource pack load) that'd be great.

Hello ARTeaux007! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

First thing I would do is check to see if your router needs an update. If that's up to date then try the following:

1. Sign in to your router’s setup webpage, and make sure the router’s UPnP setting is turned on. You can usually find first-time help with this in the router manual or on the manufacturer’s support site.
2. Turn the UPnP setting off and save your changes.
3. Restart your console, your modem, and your router.
4. Turn the UPnP setting back on and save your changes. If there’s a Zero Config setting, make sure that’s turned on as well.
5. Restart your modem and router.

Once you’ve reset your router:

1. Restart your console.
2. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
4. Check your settings again to make sure the UPnP message is gone.

Yea this doesn’t work. Nothing has changed in my hardware in years. Destiny 2 keeps giving me the marionberry error code. All other games work.
