"UPnP Not Successful" / appears in ur network settings
I followed xbox's guide to troubleshooting when you get a "UPnP Not Successful" in ur network settings. After following Home>Hardware&Networking's steps, my only confusion was whether I had a "zeroconfig" setting in my router settings. My UPnP was turned
on yet I now am experiencing difficulties w/ my NAT (network address translation). first, my NAT was said to be moderate. which may limit chat and multiplayer gameplay. Now, at the same time as I deal with a moderate NAT type, my xbox network settings is having
issues with "Teredo" and having my NAT becomes as unavailable. Then my nAT type changes from unavailable to moderate before my eyes within minutes. so my internet flunctutes. my internet peaks with performance then disconnects me. total disaster. all services
would be available at the same time I'm dealing with crippling lag issues and disconnections from my game for my internet being too slow. to sum up, I receive many steps to troubleshoot my issues but after one issue is troubleshooted, another begins. I've
paid for an xbox membership for somewhere around 11 years using it mostly for online gameplay and streamlined apps for my favorite streaming services. I mostly use Netflix, Hulu, and Madden17, cod, (on xbox 360) and Netflix, Hulu, tom Clancy's rainbow six
siege, (on xbox one). I read about disruptions that may occur when having both an xbox 360 and xbox one on the same router. not necessarily playing both consoles at the same time but having both consoles get internet from the same router. the devices I use
for my network include the NetGear router Nighhawk X6 R7900, Comcast internet, comcastXfinity modem. I have a clean set up and look forward to less stress when gaming and streaming.
