Uploading videos to youtube

Is there a way to record videos on my X1 and upload them to youtube?

What exactly is skydrive? & can i upload anything from skydrive to youtube?

having trouble uploading my videos to YouTube from my Xbox one, anybody know a solution to when it says FILE_NOT_AVALIBLE?

skydrive (onedrive) is a free storage space provided by MS.... if you upload your videos to Onedrive from the upload studio, they are available to view from the internet... (skydrive.com) visit the skydrive website and download the program to your PC....
this will make Onedrive a file system on your PC where it automatically loads the file to your PC (as well as ANY pc or device synced to your account).. from there it is as easy as having a youtube account... upload a video and selecting the file location
within Skydrive (onedrive) on your PC

Yes it has a Mac version and tablet versions with 7GB free storage, and 0.5GB extra for every friend that signs up.

 

How do i record the gameplay on my xbox one? i noticed that i had Ryse son of rome footage clips but i never recorded those or anything .. i played other games and didn't see clips for those saved on there ..

So when i say xbox record that will it end a clip or will it start recording from that point?

 

It records the last 30 seconds of gameplay. This means you can say it AFTER something happens.

the record that is the most used... as it does not stop you in the middle of game play... say your playing BF4 MP... you turn the corner c4 a tank... take 2 tags then run and snipe a pilot out of a heli... XBOX RECORD THAT will take the last 30 seconds
of game play from when you said XBOX RECORD THAT.. the game DVR.. you need to pause the game and navigate through a few windows.... and is good for if you are going to start a clip from the start and do say a tutorial on how to clear a level

 

Depending on your monetary situation, I'd strongly advise purchasing a capture card as opposed to relying on the Skydrive. I picked mine up for roughly 150 bucks, but it gives you a lot more wiggle room. Then you can look into getting a good mic, and do
some live commentary.

 

^^I agree, while I love the Game DVR feature. I much prefer my El Gato capture. And a little trick if you don't want to have it plugged in to your computer everytime you want to play a game, Just plug the usb into the Xbox itself! It works like a charm.

 

@eggnogga @silkyjj thats actually what i originally wanted to do. How does a capture card work ? would i need to buy anything else? will i need to hook my X1 to my PC?

With a capture card will i be able to stream live to twitch? if so i would buy a capture card today ! please give me more details on how this works.. instructions. & what capture card you recommend
