    Uploading VALORANT game captures on xbox app Windows 10 PC


    Hi recently I found out my friends are able to capture game clips and videos using Windows 10 Xbox App, it is able to show him play a certain PC game on the Xbox Live friend list, also able to upload clips from them,
    they are not Xbox games like gears of wars and such. However, I am not able to post any VALORANT clips I have made. It will give me this error of "Sorry, we do not recognize this game" and I'm not able to upload it on Xbox live. Can someone please help me
    and is there any ways to fix this or find a way around it? Thank you.

    Unable to share external HD captures on Xbox Live

    What you need to do is copy your captures to the captures folder on Windows 10, should be in your videos folder. Then launch the Xbox app, select captures, then select this pc, and your captures should be listed, select the capture you want to upload, and
    give it a name, and choose the game it's for, and select upload. Once it is uploaded it will take a few hours to go on the xbox live feed.

    You can upload custom gameclips via the windows 10 app. Put the gameclip you want to share to xbox live in the captures folder on your PC and it will allow you to select it and share it via the app

    Hi mary,

    Thanks for your post. Are you attempting to watch videos from your phone on Xbox App? The Xbox Application only supports videos that have been uploaded to Xbox Live from an Xbox One Game Capture or a capture from a game on your Windows 10 PC.

    Game clips

    All game clips you create using Xbox or Windows 10 can be found on the Xbox App under the captures section. You can download them to your PC. The default location is captures in the videos folder. You can then use any video editing suite you like and re-upload
    them back to Xbox Live or to any video sharing website you want.

    Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with downloading videos in a specific time range. As far as the capabilities to download captures, you may from the Xbox App or from the Xbox Console. When you create captures you are now able to
    edit, trim, without download other apps to help.
