  1. Uploading to OneDrive from Xbox One X External Drive

Looking for some help here if anyone's available. I have recently uploaded some photos and videos from my Xbox One X External Drive to OneDrive. I did this a couple of days ago and upload around 300 or so photos, i just did again today and uploaded about
    80. Now, I had just assumed that everything was in good working order, so I deleted my photos and videos from my external after it said completed on my Xbox One X.

I just logged into my OneDrive account and its not showing any uploads since 12-13-2020. So none of the 380(ish) items I uploaded are anywhere to be found on my OneDrive account.

    Any advice?

    :)

    clips

upload to onedrive from the xbox and then download from onedrive on pc.

or use an external hdd formatted by the xbox as a media drive then transfer that way.

How do I back up Xbox captures to a different OneDrive account?

Hi. My name is Brilliant, an independent advisor. I am happy to assist you today.

To back up your Xbox captures to a different OneDrive account, you can use the “Upload to OneDrive” function. Here are the steps to follow:
    1. Launch the “Captures” app on your Xbox console.
    2. Select the captures that you want to back up to OneDrive.
    3. Choose the “Upload to OneDrive” option from the available actions.
    4. Sign in to the OneDrive account where you want to store your captures.
    5. Wait for the upload process to complete.

Please note that you can’t upload captures that are recorded to an external drive directly to OneDrive from your console. However, you can copy them to your desired external drive and then upload them to OneDrive from your PC.

    I hope this helps.

my PC. but in last 6months is impossible to upload one video to Onedrive.

Xbox one OneDrive/Skydrive replace old with new

Hi, OneDrive is connected to each individual account, you can't choose which OneDrive account you want to upload items to.

You could maybe download those items that are in your OneDrive and store them either on your PC or a USB flash drive/ external hard drive though.

    I deleted my file "Captures"

    Hi there.

Unfortunately, if you have deleted clips from your account we would not have any way to recover them.

You can use an external drive for recording if you like and upload them to
    OneDrive
in the future. This will help back up those files and prevent total loss.

We do hope that helps and wish you the best!
