HUGE ANNOYING ISSUES

Please make sure to read the last comment.. I thank you everyone in advance.

OK! SO.. The thing is. I have lots of videos recorded on game DVR on the Xbox app.. BUT!! when it comes to uploading them, It restricts the majority of The games, and If it did Upload to Xbox Live, when it comes to sharing in activity feed or club. It says
that "we can't show this content right now" Really it does.. ITs Getting on my nerves a lot lately, cuz I wanna upload game clips and share with my friends. It would be nice if the Xbox offers a more flexible Game DVR where it allows you to record certain
games and Add them to your game location by selecting The files. Currently it is an absolute Bomb, out of 50 game on my PC, there are only 3 of them that I can view on my Xbox App, other than the Microsoft standard games.

Here are the things that I suggest:

Allow File select to add game shortcuts here.. the "Add a game from your PC" is kinda useless as it turns out it only detects software apps rather than (few) games.

Allow Upload game clips from other games, Example: Nier Automata, Devil may Cry 4, Heroes of the Storm, Battlefield 4, OSU!, and so on.

Do not restrict the game platform like PS4 games, Cuz after all were doing it for the sake of entertaining friends (I personally do)

Allow Friends to watch or stream streams through the xbox app, This will be a huge GOOD THING to do!

please add volume adjuster for parties cuz I cant play games with loud people with me in the party.

I really hope you guys will help in making this post reach further by sharing this at a wider range. We want to make the Xbox App more useful and became a big help to our gaming sessions on PC. lots of friends and family are on Xbox so it would be nice if
they considered this issue. Thanks again =)

Xvox One Twitch question

Isn't the twitch app different from Uploading clips? That's the impression I got.

Unable to upload clips

I seem to have an error when uploading clips to Xbox Live through the app. I've recorded some clips of Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch. I tried to upload them, but when it reaches 98%, the app crashes and nothing uploads. I don't know why it's doing this because
it has worked fine in the past with both games.

This is all wonderful ideas & feedback! As for uploading game clips, there may be times where a clip can't be uploaded due to publisher decisions, but the rest of your ideas and feedback would fit nicely in our
Xbox Feedback page. Check the page out to see if anyone has similar ideas and vote for them, or post one up if you can't find similar feedback! Hope this helps!

I had no issues with the clips before. But there is always room for improvement with the game dvr and upload studio

Hey Poulpc,

Thanks for posting! The primary app we recommend using to check and manage your game clips will be the Upload Studio app. If you delete a clip after recording, does it show up in the Upload Studio app? If it does still appear right away, does waiting a minute
or two reflect that the Clip is deleted properly?

Let us know if the Upload Studio app behaves as expected.

Hi Gary,

Do you take these clips on an Xbox One console or using the Game Bar on Windows 10 when recording your game clips?

Usually clips are uploaded automatically to Xbox Live once you take the clip but if it's not uploading go ahead and

restart your PC with a clean boot and start up just the Xbox App. Try to upload the clip again after the clean boot.

Make sure that the Xbox App is up to date by checking through the Microsoft Store and if that doesn't help look for the Xbox beta app and try uploading it through there.

Thanks for the feedback RoG. We're looking at a variety of improvements we'd like to make in the Friends app (including many that you mentioned) in future updates. As an FYI, whenever you record a game clip or use Upload that will show up in your friends'
activity feeds. It's not the same as sharing directly with a friend or friends but it does give your friends the opportunity to see all your clips. Thanks again and keep the feedback coming!
