Upload Studio Voiceovers

I am trying to make a clip with music in Upload Studio (A music montage sort of thing) and when I try to do the voiceover, the Xbox does not pick it up. I tried several times to make sure it wasn't my stupidity that was causing it. I even spoke and it still
wasn't recording.

It does do the countdown etc. but nothing plays from the voiceover. Upload doesn't crash, or I don't get kicked to the homescreen. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Upload Studio - Voice Over option not available

Did you install Upload Studio before your Kinect? 1) Uninstall Upload Studio 2) Go do the two part set up for your Kinect 3) be sure the Kinect Recognizes you @ Sign-in 4) Launch Upload Studio

 

If you are using a headset is the mic muted?

 

hello I just got the update for the new ui and upload studio is asking for an update but it keeps saying that it needs an update but something went wrong I have try everything that says on the help page any one has this problem too

I've made sure my mic wasn't muted, but other than not recording in upload studio, it works fine.
