Upload Studio terms of service

What is the copy right rules for upload studio on my xbox one. I noticed you could upload the videos to one drive. But can you use those videos on youtube if your using the transitions and effects and etc. I just want to make sure im not violating and
copyright laws.

Upload Studio Update - 16 Jan 2015

Can anyone confirm or deny that Upload Studio app is "down" in the service status? Upload Studio won't start over last 24 hours, says it needs an update. However, numerous tries result in "There was a problem with the update" message.

I've gone through step 6 of the help, but nothing worked.

Then, in checking the service status, I noticed that Upload Studio print is black, whereas everything that is "normal" is in green print.

I've searched the forums and support, there's nothing recent regarding this issue. I'd just like to know if MS is working on something and has blocked / held up an update.

Note that I'm located in Bangkok now, but I'm an American, and a U.S. account holder. I've used Upload Studio a couple of times since moving here, with no problems.

It's kind of weird if MS required Upload Studio to be updated, but then halted all use of it until they sent it out there, or set it up. Am I missing something?

 

Clips > Saving, Sharing, etc

Upload Studio lets you edit and share your recorded gameplay clips with the Xbox Live community.

How are you going to share clips with a community your not subscribed to?

MS isn't forcing you to do anything.

Alternative buy the kit that will allow you to do it without live, (live is cheaper short term, or for getting used to it)

 

Copyright laws still apply to Upload Studio, and if found breaching them, can cause issues, as this will break the terms and conditions of using the service with MS.

One of the main things to be aware of , using music that is copyright, is not permitted, and all content must use rated for everyone. Since the content is not restricted and any age can see it when posted.

 

You can use those clips as long as you OWN them.

Any copyrighted material you would have to edit to make your own version of said copyright material to follow guidelines. If you post any out right copyrighted material youtube or any other platform exercises their right to remove said video. heres some
