Upload studio wont let me manage or view my clips, keeps telling me i need to install an app first but doesnt tell me what app

upload studio problems

hi all...for last couple of weeks ive been capturing game play on Dark souls 3 but for some reason the program wont let me save them.

it use to work but now it doesn't.

ive read other posts where people have/had similar problems but never been able to find an answer to rectify this.

xbox support suggested checking settings and doing a power cycle shut down process which ive done as well as rebooting the console countless times but I cant get upload studio to save the game clip.

ive deleted nearly all my previous saved clips in case I had too many which may be the cause

All it says is "Capture(s) not saved. Something went wrong. Please try again later

I can record game clips with no problem but simply cannot save them and so they get deleted after a few days and I loose them.

please does anyone have a suggestion or reason for why upload studio fails to save??

Hey DARKSIDE407 -

I'd recommend
uninstalling Upload Studio,
power cycling your Xbox One console, then reinstalling the app and trying again. Hopefully that helps!

Hey there Sir Ice!

Does this issue also happen on your main account or is it only the secondary one? First thing that comes to mind is going to be trying to

power cycle your console. I'm not totally sure this will help but it's always the place you wanna start for troubleshooting. If that doesn't work, double check the privacy settings on your second account to be sure that nothing changed and that the account's
Upload Studio has storage space available still. It's also worth going ahead and

re-adding the account to your console.

You can also try sharing a video or a clip with me to see if it loads for me. Keep us posted!

Have you tried clearing your chache? 3tmes? Then delete upload studio re-downlaod

Same here, I cant get anything to upload.

forgot to mention that I called Xbox Support and they told me I should try clearing up some space in my storage. I did that and it still doesn't work. Only about 25% of my storage is being used right now
