Upload studio not uploading. Error 0x80040206

I have been getting this error for a few weeks now. Eveytime I try to upload it renders the video and fails between 50% and 100% with the error "Sorry we were not able to upload your clip just now. (0x80040206)". I saw a forum post that said it was solved
in an update. Though I am still getting it.

I've been getting the same message for a few weeks now. it started two weeks ago when I tried to upload the clip to OneDrive, but when I unchecked the OneDrive option it worked until today. Today when trying to upload some Destiny videos it error'd out no
matter what, I kept trying and it worked on the third try.

 

Hi i have been trying all day to upload some destiny clips and it keeps giving me that damn error

 

I get the same error as well. I have done a hard reset and tried unplugging my console and it hasn't fixed anything.

 

No official response on this? I like making videos but I don't want to waste my time editing because if it fails then I can't save them.

 

Same crap happening to me also. Spent all day trying to upload a 4min video on 4 separate occasions. 40- 50 mins then it spits out a failure message!!

 

Getting the same error. Has this been fixed for anyone?

 

I have been getting this error also, I've tried even factory resetting my Xbox one (DON'T DO THAT) and the error still pops up.

 

To everyone the actual problem is not with upload studio or the xbox its actually to do with the one drive try uploading without selecting upload to one drive it worked for me i hope this helps

 

I have the same problem and error code now in the last few days. I need OneDrive upload but even after the update it doesn't work.

 

Same problem for a few weeks now a few times I've managed to upload 1 minute long clips before it pops up the error message but anything longer and it will definitely pop up.

This is really unfair as I'm a YouTuber and my only way of recording is by using my console and uploading to onedrive its was a very big reason why i got a Xbox One in the first place and now i have this problem and by the sounds of it nobody wants to fix
it

You cant promise services to people and then not deliver them we pay good money for these services and they need to be addressed properly

 

Everyone on the Project Spark forums assumed it was something unique to that game, but it appears from reading here that it is a general problem with recording video on xboxone for any game.

This has not worked from launch. When will it be fixed? 9 months is an unacceptable time for a bug to still exist, and prevent a feature of a product from working.
