Upload Studio - loss of quality and sound after too many renderings

Wonder if you could shed some light on the following. So I have about 40 clips captured from a few weeks of gaming. I would like to compile a 5 min montage of all these. Can you confirm that the only way of achieving this is in fact by creating a multiclip
(x5), saving and uploading it, then adding 4 more clips to this. Rinse and Repeat?

Well, I have done this last night and after a few hours and a total of 12 render and upload steps I have my montage. However, the problem I found is that each time I add 4 clips to my original clip, it goes through a Render and Upload process. This meant
that my very first 5 clips had gone through a total of 12 renderings, which in turn had *seriously* degraded the quality of clip as well as the sound (in-game sound). Obviously, the clips towards the middle of the montage had undergone less renderings and
the last few clips only 1 or 2. So as you are watching the montage, it starts of very very quiet and very low quality (~480p or less), and eventually towards the end it reaches original quality and sound.

Has anyone else seen this or knows a better method of creating a montage with a lot of clips?

Horrible Game DVR quality after saving in Upload Studio

I notice a significantly lower quality image after rendering videos in Upload Studio. I don't know if it's an issue with this single clip, but the raw unedited one is normal quality but after rendering twice in Upload Studio it looks horrible. You can't
even make out gamertags in the clip (It is MCC, Halo 4 specifically)

Just to agree with the OP about the video quality.

I compared a recorded clip to the same clip after running it through upload studio, and the loss of quality is massive.

Let`s hope this will be fixed/updated sometimes.

Speaking of updates, I don`t understand why upload studio limits to 1/3/5 clips when editing.

Why not just allow us to add a clip with a button-press, you can still limit the maximum time if that`s a concern.

 

The tools right now provided through Upload Studio cannot really do what you are asking.

To get a better quality/more consistent montage clip, upload all of your clips to OneDrive and do the editing there (through Windows Movie Maker or some other video editing software). Unfortunately, with this method, you won't be able to then put it on your
Xbox Live feed, but you will be able to upload it to YouTube, or just share the OneDrive link (assuming you upload the finished montage to there).

Otherwise, we'll have to wait until they provide a better toolset for Upload Studio.
