I got a notice this morning from my very first clip I had shared on Xlive, The clip was not offensive it was Diablo 3. Is D3 offensive? I had no talk over no offensive Tag or text.

What happened

This email is to notify you that one of your video clips was taken down due to inappropriate content submitted through the Upload Studio app.

The content that resulted in this takedown may include but is not limited to:

• Excessive profanity/vulgarity, hate speech, threats, and/or harassment
• Nudity, imitation of nudity, pornography, and/or sexual activity
• Drug use
• Copyright infringement

Your content was brought to the attention of the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team through either complaints filed by other Xbox Live users or in the course of our operation of the service. The Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team has reviewed the complaints
and other evidence regarding this content and determined it violates the Xbox Live Terms of Use and/or Code of Conduct. Because this content is in violation, the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team has blocked the content from public view.

How this enforcement affects you

The video clip containing inappropriate content is no longer accessible to you or others. Further attempts to submit video containing inappropriate content may result in your privileges to submit clips via Upload Studio being temporarily suspended.

Upload Studio - Voice Over option not available

Did you install Upload Studio before your Kinect? 1) Uninstall Upload Studio 2) Go do the two part set up for your Kinect 3) be sure the Kinect Recognizes you @ Sign-in 4) Launch Upload Studio

 

Upload Studio/Game DVR won't work!!

Upload Studio seems to have been broken for about 2 weeks now, I am unable to upload a clip of any kind thru the Upload Studio, I have to upload them thru my clip manager.

 

Without seeing the actual video you uploaded I couldn't even make a guess why it was removed, however, I find this part of that email beyond hilarious...

Except for the Copyright infringement, pretty much every game I own has all that other stuff. Good thing I don't mess with uploads a lot.

 

Looks like you got a slap in the face lol Yea Goth i beat you to it.

In all honesty i watched your few Diablo 3 uploads you have in your profile and didn't see anything unusual or offensive unless they deleted it completely..which now has me wondering about a couple of mine as i have some rather interesting ones from Shadow
Warrior and D4 lol maybe it was comments posted from friends or such on the activity feed.

 

You'd think that comments from others would count against the individual making the comment and subsequently deleted though, not against the owner of the video itself. If you over-shared the video, someone may have reported it as harassment, but that kind
of thing is probably very rare, if likely to happen at all.

 

Not sure what to make of it. I called xbox support and they didn't do jack. I demanded an explanation and I was told to post here and I would get an answer.

 

Keep demanding stuff.

lol @Bird. Yeah, people love it when you tell them how to do their jobs. =P

Without seeing the video, none of us can really comment on why it was taken down specifically, and I doubt enforcement will give you anything more than the information you've already received.

If you're really gung-ho about making videos, I'd suggest looking into getting a capture card. It is a much better alternative than the Upload Studio will ever be.

 

One of my GTA 5 clips got taken down a while ago - was just messing around on the beach with a bit of C4 and some sunbathing hippies : (

I called xbox support and they didn't do jack. I demanded an explanation - Of course Xbox support isn't going to do "jack". You either didn't bother to read the very message you
copy/pasted here, or you did and blatantly ignored what it stated. This line comes from your OP > "Note:
Customer Support is not able to modify or provide any further details about this action." Calling support and "demanding an explanation" isn't going to help your case.

I was told to post here and I would get an answer. - This is the Xbox One General Discussion forum. The proper forum is the one bird has linked to. If you post there, you may get
'an answer' but I wouldn't hold my breath on it being one you're going to like.
