    Upload Studio clip sharing error


    Hi Xbox Live Support,

    Just passing on a issue that myself and others are experiencing while trying to share clips with friends, when trying to share clips we are getting the following.

    Something went wrong

    Sorry, we are unable to share this at the moment. Try again in a while.



    This message started appearing from what I understand is since the last update for Preview members. I have tried trouble shoots and nothing is fixing this problem.

    Viewing clips smartglass vs X1

    I noticed if you upload it to your skydrive, friends you have listed as sharing with can leave comments. The comments are on the video clip in the skydrive app, not on the upload studio.

    As part of your troubleshooting have you rebooted your network? Turn off the console with the logo, unplug the power cord, unplug your modem and router. Wait 5 minutes and plug in your modem and when it is fully booted, plug in your router. When it's fully
    booted, plug in the console and try again. This has helped most people with almost all network errors that weren't service alert related that I've helped.

    Clips > Saving, Sharing, etc

    Upload Studio lets you edit and share your recorded gameplay clips with the Xbox Live community.

    How are you going to share clips with a community your not subscribed to?

    MS isn't forcing you to do anything.

    Alternative buy the kit that will allow you to do it without live, (live is cheaper short term, or for getting used to it)

    Unable to Share

    It's still not working.

    If I go to "upload studio" and upload a video clip it will share it. If I go to just "upload" and try to upload the same clip i get the same error "Try Again Later.... Sorry we can't do that right now. It might take too long to upload, or the service may
    be down." There is no error code listed anywhere to go with it, just the message to try again later. (I've been trying since I got it)

    In "Upload Studio" I still can't share images as I get that error, and I also have to "edit" a video in order for it to share. I basically just leave it, change the name, and then upload it to one drive then share.

    4K Upload Studio and YouTube Clip Uploads

    Hi there!

    Unfortunately you can only share gameplay clips on Xbox Live, OneDrive, or Twitter at this time directly from your Xbox. Uploading to YouTube from the Xbox is currently not available.

    You should be able to edit 4K clips in upload studio granted you have an Xbox One X. The only difference between 4K clips and normal clips is that 4K clips are limited to 30 seconds but editing them should all be the same.
