Upload speed to Xbox live capped??

I have a 40/100 speed connection. When I speed test on my Xbox one and other internet linked devices i get 38 - 39 Mbps uploads. But when I run the network statistics test on my 360 I only get 9.5 mbps. Why are uploads capped for the 360?

    :)

Xbox Live Upload Speed Very Slow

    Update:

I have run a full power cycle both on router and Xbox, and still same results.

I also tried many different DNS (my ISP DNS, Google, OpenDNS and others) and the results of download / upload speed remain the same (it changes the ping but this is understandable).

I always get a lower upload speed in Xbox Live, while all other services show a very similar download / upload speed (around 150 / 160 Mbps).

From all my findings, it looks clearly like a metered (or capped) upload speed by Xbox Live, introduced some days ago.

Now, I could understand and accept if this is a temporary problem.

I would not accept if this is a permanent (and very bad) change.

Slow upload... are Microsoft capping the speeds.

during the day and through the night i download from xbox network at 97MBps (megabytes) on virgin but during the peak times it caps to about 65MBps or sometimes lower, it depends on the amount of traffic the ISP is dealing with.

uploads i rarely have an issue with but even capped he should get higher than 14mbps.

Slow upload... are Microsoft capping the speeds.

he has 71Mbps upload, should be showing and reflecting this on the xbox and if not should show more than 14Mbps.

we all know upload is less than download rates.

he said nothing about gigabytes so i do not know why you are trying to explain something that was not brought up.

@op, xbox does cap in the UK it is to keep all the microsoft networks flowing and fair to all, they have to cater for business and standard user connections., you should be getting better upload though.
