    Provider: Verizon

Theoretical Speeds: 50 down/50 up Mbps

Xbox One Speeds: 36.90 down/ 0.11 up Mbps

I'm on a hardwired connection and my NAT is at Moderate (tried everything to fixed this)

I've run a connection test with the same cable and produced better results of 50.42 down, 9.66 up Mbps

I've talked to Verizon and they said the router was working just fine, and they said that the issue is Microsoft. I don't know what to do.

    :)

Another thing to keep in mind is the upload speed of the connection. If you have a hearty download speed but an upload speed under 1 mb, you'll likely run into connection issues.

Best Internet provider? What should I get?

You may have issues streaming content with that connection speed - we recommend around 3 Mbps download speed and 1 Mbps upload speed as a start Upload Speed Issues :)

Will performing a factory reset help this issue? Is this issue with an update?

  5. I wouldn't worry too much about what its says , its what it does that matters , are you having trouble on a game or joining mp or party chat?....as far as the NAT , what setup you got ?( Modem , router , isp and such , how many Xboxes ? ) here's a thread
    about NAT ,

I'm having a very similar issue and it's effecting my ability to stream via the Twitch app. I get 60 Down and 6 Up according to Speedtest.net with my PC wirelessly connected to my modem/router. My Xbox One gets 60 Down and 1 Up with a wired connection.
    Help!

I've dug around for a solution to this for three days now. I've contacted my ISP, but I'm pretty sure its not them because my PC is unaffected by this issue. When Wolfenstein the New Order came out I streamed the entire game at very high quality via the
twitch app. I did read on one Xbox forum that preview program members experienced this issue, but I'm not part of that. I've gone through every troubleshooting process on Xbox.com and twitch.com

UPDATE: I was on the phone with Xbox support for hours the other day trying to get this sorted out. We tried everything and nothing worked. We concluded it had to be my ISP throttling Xbox One connections. I tested two Xbox Ones and all of my PCs got
the rated 6 Mbps Up that I pay for.

Something strange happened today. My Xbox has attained the 6.something Mbps UP that it's supposed to get. Idk what happened. I played some Destiny and then I rearranged some of my pins and now everything is normal again.

    Upload Speed Issue

    Hi the mad newfie!

    We noticed you revived an
    older thread
, so we split the post to assist you on your own individual thread.

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that this is something that is happening whether wired or wireless. The best recommendation I have regarding your upload speeds is to

    power cycle your console
and network hardware simultaneously for a minimum of 5 minutes. Other than that, you may want to look into

    port forwarding your Xbox One
    .

    Hope this helps out!

Hello, do you already performed a console power cycle? this will fix most of the times this kind of issues, here are the instructions in the following link:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

Let us know if these sugestions fix your issue, or if you need more assistance?
They mentioned that in the original post.

To OP: Have you turned on Quality of Service (QoS) by any chance? Are you connected via wireless or ethernet?

    One question.

Is your Xbox One connected by cable or wireless? If wireless, I suggest to you test it with cable. And check do you get same speed or better.
