  1. upload speed ALWAYS below 5mbps on console, but over 200mbps with the same wire on pc

hi there, the upload speed on my console has never been above 5mbps when i run the detailed statistics or do speed checks on Edge console edition. i'm using a wired connection. but if i use the same cable on my pc, i get over 200mbps upload speed. download speeds are similar on both pc and console. the router or the access point has no bandwidth restrictions. i use a Huawei HG659b router and an Asus RT-AC5300 access point with all connections wired.

would someone be able to help. thank you! ISP Spark NZ - FibreMAX

    :)

We highly recommend following what's mentioned here => Troubleshoot your network connection speed | Xbox Support
hi Zineb, i have opened all the necessary ports on the router. the Edge browser on the xbox shows over 200mbps upload speed now. but settings>network speed and statistics only ever go up to about 4mbps upload. when i stream to twitch, the lag is very bad even with the seemingly 200mbps uplink.

i factory reset the xbox as well. same issue

Well you do know the upload speed isnt the same as download speed right? 200mbps download would mean 10-50mbps upload at beat

Your upload will never come close to your download you can contact your isp for info
hi ngocphi ,yes i do know. my download is supposed to be 900mbps and upload 400mbps.

no, i'm using Spark FibreMAX in New Zealand.

of the two pictures attached, both are from the xbox.

fast.com speed check was done on the Edge browser on xbox

[i need to upgrade my cables, they seem to only do about 300mbps max at the moment both ways. but if i plug a laptop straight into the router with a 1M cable, i get over 500mbps download]
