Upload not sharing clips edited in Upload Studio.

Hello everyone, I am having an issue where any game clip that I have edited with Upload studio cannot be shared. Unedited clips have no problem sharing, but edited ones do. The exact error message that pops up is:

"Try again later

Sorry, we can't share this right now. It might be taking longer than usual to upload, or there might be a temporary problem with our service."

Does anyone know a fix for this? I have checked my internet which uploads at 2.8 Mbit/s and my NAT type is open, so I am fairly certain it is not a network issue.

Please help if possible.

Try a different clip error (0x80040212)

After downloading the Upload Studio update today, I can edit and successfully upload the clips I wasn't able to earlier. I still can't play them in Upload, but after they are edited and uploaded from Studio, the edited ones will play

Thankfully I didn't lose all of these clips for good

I can't share game clips that I have edited with the upload studio.

Ive been having the same issue with only one clip for like 3 days now.. Idk what the problem is.

Try re-uploading it, thats what im doing now. Hopefully it works.

Hi there!

Unfortunately you can only share gameplay clips on Xbox Live, OneDrive, or Twitter at this time directly from your Xbox. Uploading to YouTube from the Xbox is currently not available.

You should be able to edit 4K clips in upload studio granted you have an Xbox One X. The only difference between 4K clips and normal clips is that 4K clips are limited to 30 seconds but editing them should all be the same.

Upload Studio lets you edit and share your recorded gameplay clips with the Xbox Live community.

How are you going to share clips with a community your not subscribed to?

MS isn't forcing you to do anything.

Alternative buy the kit that will allow you to do it without live, (live is cheaper short term, or for getting used to it)

Hey Jason!

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Game clips on Xbox are recorded, edited, and shared from the Game DVR feature associated to the Upload Studio app. The Upload Studio app is the only way to upload and share clips that you recorded from Xbox or Xbox on
Windows 10.

As of right now, I don't think there is a way to convert or transfer your recorded files that are captured using your internal graphics card. All clips are captured using the Game DVR feature and then edited and shared from Upload Studio.
