Upload Error code 0x80040206

As many users, I'm experiencing the anoying error code on the subject of this post.

This error code ocurs when you try to upload a edited video to onedrive.

Upload studio processes the video. The process bar arrives at 50% and then, after a long while it apperas a message telling you that something was going wrong. You recieve the code on the subject and bye bye.

I've seen on the forum that this error is massive. It doesn't happen to everyone, but to a lot of people.

While Microsoft is working on it, please support that suggestion on XBOX uservoice. We need that Microsoft allow us to download the saved videos through Xbox.com while upload with upload studio to onedrive doesn't work.

upload studio

anyone having problems when trying to upload recorded game? I only get a error code 0x80040206. yesterday worked fine.

Upload Studio Not Recording Voice Over.

My upload studio doesn't even work, same error code people were getting months ago "Sorry, we weren't able to upload your clip just now.(0x80040206)". It loads to 50% and then crashes every time. Has this issue been addressed yet?

I have had a similar problem, the same error code. I try to Upload various videos from a specific time period and everytime I'm prompted with this message, Interestingly when I try and upload videos from a different time period, recorded days earlier, no
problems what so ever. Xbox customer support just spiel the usual clear this un-plug that rubbish ( as if you had'nt already tried that ) and suggest this error code is to do with NAT settings which is also rubbish. Maybe there was some kind of corruption
to these files ? Maybe it is time to let go of them videos I know I Have Xbox don't seem to care about it. Frustrating I know but hey since when did Xbox actually resolve an issue.

( You may get lucky and speak to a representative who knows what there talking about it's rare but does sometimes happen)

The message for me has now changed, error code : 0x80040212 stating '' The gameplay clip that you tried to open has been deleted or was never publlished, please select another clip to watch '' Considering the clips in my game DVR I'ts not been deleted on
my end, and It's obviously not published yet, due to no single verification view showing. Out of interest have you had any problems with the latest update ? I think that has something to do with it, as mine does'nt exist as of yet ? I got the video announcing
it but no update ? Xbox customer support quoted a different website to me account.xbox.com.en/uk/gameclips ??

I'm having the same issue. It will let me render the clip but it holds at 50% when it completes the rendering and just sits there for a minute or two and then throws me the error code 0x80040206

"Please try again - Sorry, we weren't able to upload your clip just now. (0x80040206)"

Yo what's the matter support!? The probem still exists I'm always getting the error code (0x80040206)!!! The entire day now and the video I want to upload is only 29 seconds long. Anyone???

MoonWolf, have you spoken to anyone from Konami or Xbox directly, or just through support?

The best way to get an answer to this or even get it flagged up may be to contact someone closely involved through social media. Adam Bhatti is the PES European Production Manager. His Twitter account is adam_bhatti if anyone wants to try him. He seems friendly
and open to people's comments from what I've seen.

I would do it but I don't have a Twitter account. :/

Hi there - tried to upload a clip from PES 2015 yesterday, does not work, same problem. Alien Isolation for example works just fine.
