Upload Error code 0x80040206

I see that there are still loads of people getting this on Upload studio.

I see you have done nothing to help with the issue either?

All i see is the same generic copy paste message to trouble shoot it which obviously does jake ***.

Why can i not upload stuff and always recieve this message "Upload Error code 0x80040206"

I have a 6mb upload speed and it just fails every time.

anyone having problems when trying to upload recorded game? I only get a error code 0x80040206. yesterday worked fine.

Upload Studio Not Recording Voice Over.

My upload studio doesn't even work, same error code people were getting months ago "Sorry, we weren't able to upload your clip just now.(0x80040206)". It loads to 50% and then crashes every time. Has this issue been addressed yet?

Try going to settings>network>detailed network statistics. If your packet loss is at 100%, it could be a possibility that that's your problem. It's not your fault, it's on Microsoft's end. They're currently trying to fix it. I have the same error code.

I have the same problem (0x80040206) and I've tried everything, power cycling, restarting router/modem, deleting app, removing profile, deleting system cache, checking my packet loss(0%),and more. I've talken to representative after representative trying
to find a solution and they can't help me. SOMEONE PLZ HELP

I dont think there is a fix for this., im just making sure i get in as many complaints as i can. So they report it to "command centre" quicker.

Ok i have a fix for this, that worked for me.

All i did was look online for one of the lastest routers that i can get for my ISP (being the HOME HUB 5)

Once i plugged this is, it started allowing me to upload what i want with no errors. So if you can get a new hub i recommend trying this step. Its faster than waiting for Microsoft finding a fix! Good luck everyone.

I am having this same problem but it seems it is isolated to specific games. I have been able to upload a multi clip from RESIDENT EVIL HD REMASTER edited in 'upload studio'. It could just be multi-clip or It is liklely just clips recorded from RESI HD.
This is an issue and the xbox support team dont know what is up!

I'm having the same problem aswell but it won't work for any games and my packet loss is 5%

I'm having the same issue. It will let me render the clip but it holds at 50% when it completes the rendering and just sits there for a minute or two and then throws me the error code 0x80040206

"Please try again - Sorry, we weren't able to upload your clip just now. (0x80040206)"

Yo what's the matter support!? The probem still exists I'm always getting the error code (0x80040206)!!! The entire day now and the video I want to upload is only 29 seconds long. Anyone???

I have had a similar problem, the same error code. I try to Upload various videos from a specific time period and everytime I'm prompted with this message, Interestingly when I try and upload videos from a different time period, recorded days earlier, no
problems what so ever. Xbox customer support just spiel the usual clear this un-plug that rubbish ( as if you had'nt already tried that ) and suggest this error code is to do with NAT settings which is also rubbish. Maybe there was some kind of corruption
to these files ? Maybe it is time to let go of them videos I know I Have Xbox don't seem to care about it. Frustrating I know but hey since when did Xbox actually resolve an issue.

( You may get lucky and speak to a representative who knows what there talking about it's rare but does sometimes happen)

MoonWolf, have you spoken to anyone from Konami or Xbox directly, or just through support?

The best way to get an answer to this or even get it flagged up may be to contact someone closely involved through social media. Adam Bhatti is the PES European Production Manager. His Twitter account is adam_bhatti if anyone wants to try him. He seems friendly
and open to people's comments from what I've seen.

I would do it but I don't have a Twitter account. :/

Hi there - tried to upload a clip from PES 2015 yesterday, does not work, same problem. Alien Isolation for example works just fine.
