Upload Error code 0x80040206

SpinCandy Im having PES trouble as well...will need to check other games see if they upload. Typical Konami!

 

Hi there - tried to upload a clip from PES 2015 yesterday, does not work, same problem. Alien Isolation for example works just fine.

 

It's only happening with PES for me. This is the only game I'm playing at the moment though, and it's really annoying that I can't share clips with friends or save any of these clips either. It means I'm going to lose anything saved at some point in the
next month or whatever.

Sorry to hear others are having the same issue.

It's also really disappointing that nobody from xbox-side has offered a fix that works, or responded to the posts from the last week or so (even if it's to state they're still aware of the issue, or that Konami/any other developers with games affected by
this have been informed and are intending to fix it at some point).

 

Same with me - I've contacted Xbox support who claim it's a pes issue and konami are claiming its an xbox issue. It only happens for pes with me, can upload cod and fifa clips fine. So annoying.

 

Still no reply to this? *sigh*

MoonWolf, have you spoken to anyone from Konami or Xbox directly, or just through support?

The best way to get an answer to this or even get it flagged up may be to contact someone closely involved through social media. Adam Bhatti is the PES European Production Manager. His Twitter account is adam_bhatti if anyone wants to try him. He seems friendly
and open to people's comments from what I've seen.

I would do it but I don't have a Twitter account. :/

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for the detailed information. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps if you haven't already to see if we can get this issue sorted:

Please give the following steps a try:

• Try Uninstalling and reinstalling the Upload Studio app.
  
• remove your profile from your Xbox One console.
  
• press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Unplug the power cable to your router, modem or gateway.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console and then plug in your router, modem or gateway.
  
• Add your profile back on to your Xbox One console.
  
• Power on your console and try uploading a video.

Also, try uploading a clip from a different game to see if the issue continues to occur. Give the suggested steps a try and let us know how it goes!

 

I'm having the same problem, i cannot upload videos of PES 2015, but it works with other games videos! Please fix it already!

i literally bought the xbox one for this feature and it doesnt work for me, ive even traded xbox one for a new one thinkin this was a console error, nope. Ive done every possible thing to get this to work still nothing, the only way i can get my clips to
even SHOW in my activity feed is if its done off a friends xbox one, and by the looks of this thread this is an issue that should have been dealt with along time ago, even my achievements n txt posts show just not my clips, lets get this fixed already -.-

 

Also forgot to add i just dont understand how half the worlds account let them share and upload clips no prob on activity feed but others suffer, but when i had a friend go on my account at their home, internet, xbox there is absolutely no issues with my
account and uploading works perfectly,also when its done on their xbox i have no issues with seeing them in smartglass???!?!?

 

im trying to upload a 3 min and it not working even the 30 second one I tried didn't work
