Upload Error code 0x80040206

I have the same problem, I have uploaded 2 <1min clips without problems to OneDrive but I can´t upload a 4min clip. It seems to have uploaded to Upload but it isn´t in my OneDrive. The error popped out around 75-80% of the upload every single time I tried.

 

Still getting the error no trouble shooting tips have worked pretty annoyed now.

 

Same problem here! No matter the size of the video. Already turned off the power, reinstalled the app and nothing.

Forums. If you haven't already, please go ahead and try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• First, press the menu button on your Xbox One controller.
• Select Settings and then select Network.
• Select Test Network Settings.
• If the test displays "It's all good", try Uninstalling and reinstalling the Upload Studio app.
  
• After you have reinstalled the Upload Studio app, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and try uploading a video.
  
  

If after trying the steps above the issue continues, please let us know the following information:

1. How often do your experience error code 0x80040206?
2. What is the length of the video clip you are trying to upload when the error code occurs?

I get this error code every single time I try and upload a video, I've tried all suggested fixes nothing works. Tried uploading videos of varying lengths, different time of day etc all to no avail. Ready to give up with this now

 

The same too. I tried many times but always get the error code. It happens with every clip, 30 seconds lenght or 5 minutes. Always get the same error. Sometimes fails at 80% load, sometimes 90%...I've tried the suggestions and nothing works. Please help.

I've been doing some testing again today and managed to upload a game clip by using a Wired connection to my router. I then disconnected and tried uploading again using a WI-FI connection and it failed. Plugged the Ethernet cable back in and it worked again.
So this is possibly a wi-fi related problem. I going to try and change wi-fi channel and see if it fixes it with wireless connection.

 

I noticed sometimes if a game is background auto-updating at the same time your trying to upload clips it can cause an issue.

 

Makers of upload studio still don't have a set fix date on this. Its not like this problem has been around since the xbox one's release date or anything.

still getting this error code since september it is a 4:98 min video i can upload anything other than those easily but not any that are bigger than 1 min.

Please fix ....also microsoft I am tempted to go to the windows support to get a hold of you since you disabled your link to contact support on the xbox site and have an error message from server for page about sending my kinects back to get fixed b/c it
just died for no reason. Please get on to this or atleast acknowledge the issue!

 

Had this for over a month now. It's really annoying. Fix this NOW Microsoft, this error has gone on long enough.

 

I've never been able to upload a single video since I've had this app.

Tried all the steps provided and still getting this error message.

Is it something to do with Upload Studio not recognizing clips from certain games?

Example: this error has only started since purchasing PES 2015. Every attempt to render and upload clips from this game stops at 50% and then the 0x80040206 message pops.

Also, if I press the options button there is no option to permanently save, share, or like these PES2015 clips either.

The save, share, like options are there for other games like The Evil Within and FIFA 15, and these clips will still render and upload perfectly.

Is it worth uninstalling/reinstalling PES? If I do this am I right in thinking I will lose the clips that currently cause the 0x80040206 to pop?

just bought a one. didnt realize the one thing i really wanted to use (dvr + upload studio) DOESNT WORK AT ALL! c'mon seriously guys you need to fix this stuff before no one trusts you any more
