Upload Error code 0x80040206

I've had this happen on and off since selling my Hauppage two weeks ago. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a new one, Upload Studio is completely unreliable.

anyone having problems when trying to upload recorded game? I only get a error code 0x80040206. yesterday worked fine.

My upload studio doesn't even work, same error code people were getting months ago "Sorry, we weren't able to upload your clip just now.(0x80040206)". It loads to 50% and then crashes every time. Has this issue been addressed yet?

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and try uploading a video.
• If the issue continues, try Uninstalling and reinstalling the Upload Studio app.

OK I uploaded a 40 sec clip to my OneDrive easily with no problems. Game was Destiny.

When i tried a 4 min clip, it failed at 98% after about 50mins waiting!!!

Tried again and it failed at 68%.

Please fix this problem!

 

So clearly the power cycling and reinstalling isnt working in full with the 0x80040206/201 error codes. May I request that Microsoft present an alternative solution rather than incessantly repeating their generic suggestion of power cycles and reinstalls?
I think it's a reasonable request...

 

Same error code for me too none of the trouble shooting tips have worked.

 

I can't get anything above 1 min to upload to SkyDrive. I'm trying to transfer everything to there as I've run out of space on Upload, so these clips have already been uploaded but I'm doing again to get onto SkyDrive. The 18 second clip I just tried worked
fine but a minute+ clip fails every time. I've never had so many problems in the 7 years I've had Xbox live.

 

Same problem here. MODERATORS is there a REAL solution to this? Don't even think about telling me to power cycle/ unplug my stuff. This does not work.

 

I cannot get anything uploaded to OneDrive either. I've only had success with a thirty second clip. At around a 3:00-5:00 clip, it can vary from getting to about 50%-80% uploaded before I get error code 0x80040206. I've been trying to upload clips literally
all day and doing some testing of my own. I've had no success. I've power cycled my console, unplugged the console, disconnected and re-connected to the internet. I've not tried deleting and re-installing the app. That however doesn't seem to be working. A
fix is definitely needed. The sooner the better.

I just downloaded the upload studio app for the fist time and am getting this error message every time I try to upload my clip. The length of the clip I tried are 7 seconds and 26 seconds. My NAT is open.

 

im also having trouble uploading game clips to onedrive and studio but i tried a old game clip and that uploaded so its just all my new clips tried everything dont know what to do ?

I just wanted to post an update to my situation in case it can help someone else.

My problem ended up being with one specific clip. Any multi-video I tried to create that had that clip in it failed. However, I am able to create a multi-clip video with any other clips.
