Upload app privacy settings

Hi all, sorry if this is not the right place but these forums are confusing. Can someone confirm how I can stop all of clips etc being shared straight away to my feed when I record them before I edit them in upload studio and share them. I have my privacy
at the default adult settings. I'd like to be able to take clips without them filling my feed, and then only share them once they are finished. Thanks!

Can't share Game Clips?

I'm trying to upload a game-clip to show my friends what I clipped on PC. I was able to clip it with the Xbox Game Capture and edit it through Xbox App but when I click "Upload" it shows an error message saying, -

"You can't share game clips

There might be a problem with the service, or it could be because of privacy settings or past behavior. To check your privacy settings, go to Xbox.com"

All I'm trying to do is upload a clip from the Xbox App on Windows 10...

 

Alright guys, so what is the deal with Game DVR?

If you have windows 10 you can use the xbox app to download all your captures/screenshots without first uploading from your xbox one. Just click game dvr and shared everything your xbox has capped should be there even if it's not saved yet.

This is how i download mine to pc now. Also in the same app you are in on xbox one you should be able to select edit, and edit any clips save it then upload it. I'd check your privacy settings and make sure you have it set so you can not only cap but share your caps with others.

I fully recommend windows 10 xbox app though if you have it, skip the upload step as you have to upload to both onedrive and the shared thing.
