Upload app doesn't upload screenshots to OneDrive

The title says it all. I tried to upload some screenshots to my OneDrive (I switched my console to UK region since the whole "Share" function doesn't work with Hungarian location setting), but the Upload app doesn't upload anything. The screen is just stuck
with the rotating circle. I made a photo of it:

    http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w85/dreampage/xboxoneproblems/upload_share.jpg

Nothing happens at all. It is frustrating because this way the whole app is unusable. Also, just viewing screenshots is a chore, because the app takes literally minutes to display even one screenshot. This is pathetic really. It just doesn't work. Please
update the app as soon as possible because right now it's unusable.

    :)

XBox One screenshots to OneDrive not working

Yesterday I was able to go into Upload and upload my screenshots to OneDrive.

Today the Upload app was nowhere to be seen before and after the "update".

What have you done to it?

How can I upload my screenshots to OneDrive now?

    Thanks

EDITED and SAVED Upload Clips from a MONTH ago all the way back to ALMOST LAUNCH DAY GONE! Upload app doesn't upload screenshots to OneDrive :(

    Hi,

I would want to know if I delete all my saved clips and screenshots from the Upload app in the console, are all of them deleted from my profile also? Or are they all still "in the cloud"? Should I upload all clips/screenshots to OneDrive before deleting
    them from Upload? Thanks

Upload app doesn't upload screenshots to OneDrive

(Almost the) same here. It takes forever to load all my captures and even if it succeeds most of the times I can't share them (either to OneDrive or Twitter). Also some of my screenshots don't get a "name" which means I can see them in my captures but I
can't share them or save them - these options are not even there. I can only delete them.

Also, most screenshots cannot be viewed at all. The thumbnail is there, but even if I save them, when I click on them to view full screen, the whole screen is just black. The app doesn't freeze, only it doesn't display the screenshot at all.

    Downloading Xbox screenshots to pc

You can use OneDrive. You get 5GB of storage for free.

In the capture settings on the console, you can set it so that captures are automatically uploaded to OneDrive if you like. You can also manually upload multiple captures to OneDrive at once via the Captures app. Also, you can upload an individual capture to OneDrive via the Share menu.

Once uploaded, screenshots will appear in the Pictures\Xbox Screenshots folder inside your OneDrive folder, and videos will appear in Videos\Xbox Game DVR.

    Uploading clips/screenshots to onedrive doesn't

Not a permanent solution but hold the power button on your Xbox until it fully turns off then it should fix after you turn it back only, only works for about 2 or 3 days

    Uploading clips/screenshots to onedrive doesn't

    Hey there, Gamerdude!

I'm sorry to see any issues with sharing to OneDrive! I tested it out here and it seems to be working for accounts we have access to. That doesn't mean there isn't an issue, though. Let's rule out the basics and then go on from there. :)

    First, the serious basics.
    Remove and re-add your profile
, and nice hard power cycle of the console by holding the power button for 8-10 seconds. Let's actually throw in some network device power cycling, too, if you can. Unplug your router after turning off the console, then do
the same with the modem (if you only have one device, obviously only unplug that one). Wait 5 minutes. Plug in your modem and wait for that to boot up fully, then do the router (again, only the one device is applicable). Wait for it to boot up fully, then
turn on the console. Try sharing to your OneDrive after that.

If you're still hitting issues, try on another account on the console. That will rule out profile issues.

If it's happening on another profile, then it's either the internet connection or the console. Before jumping into those troubleshooting steps, do you get an error code along with the message? That will help me focus on what we need to do next.

Let me know how this all goes! We'll jump into other things once we know how these help out. :)

Where do I find my captures on the Xbox website

Hello TJRingling, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

There are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix this issue:

Check your OneDrive settings: Make sure your OneDrive settings are configured correctly to allow uploading screenshots from your Xbox console. Check the storage settings.

Clear the Xbox app cache: If you're using the Xbox app to manage your captures, try clearing the app cache. This can help resolve any temporary issues that may be preventing screenshots from loading. You can usually find the option to clear the cache in the app's settings or preferences.

Try uploading from a different device: If the Xbox app doesn't load your screenshots correctly, you can try uploading them directly from a computer or mobile device. Sign in to your OneDrive account in a browser or the OneDrive app and try uploading screenshots manually.

    Best regards.

    Screen captures gone forever?

You can upload them to OneDrive. You can upload a single screenshot to OneDrive using the share option, or if you go into the Captures app and click on "Manage", you can select a bunch of screenshots and upload them to OneDrive all at once. You get 5GB of free space with OneDrive, which is only half as much as you get with the Xbox Network currently, but that's still ample space to store loads of captures and unlike the Xbox Network storage space, you can pay to expand it if you want/need more.

Also, since the system update released on September 27th, you have the option of having your captures automatically upload to both the Xbox Network and/or OneDrive, so you can have new screenshots upload to OneDrive automatically if you like.

Once they are uploaded to OneDrive, you can access them from any your PC (in the OneDrive - Photos - Xbox Screenshots folder), from your phone (via the OneDrive app), or via any web browser by signing in at onedrive.live.com.

Another alternative is to use a USB stick to transfer them over to your PC. Connect a USB stick to the console, launch the Captures app, click on "Manage", select the captures you want to copy over, then click the "Copy to external storage" button.
