Upload app - Cant save, like screenshots or videos

Hey all, I'm experiencing a problem in the Upload app:

- in "my captures" section when I press the burger button over a screenshot or video I don't get the "Save" or "Like" options, only "set as background" for pictures, and "edit in upload studio" for videos.

-if i go to the "manage" section and highlight screenshots or videos and click on "save" I always get "didn't save, try again" message.

-I can only save/share/like a video if it was processed through "Upload Studio" app. but everything else don't work.

Please help as I don't want to lose my captures, also I see that others are experiencing the same issue.

I tried every suggested solution but nothing works:

Updated my Xbox One to latest version

Gold membership

Power cycled it, changed the privacy and sharing setting to everybody and Allow streaming/sharing etc.

Signed out and in

Have 150gb free HD space

Have Onedrive account

Can't save or share Game DVR captures?

I have the same issue when i go to the upload studio to edit and save my videos or screenshots it wont let me save or add titles to my video or upload them.

How do you save clips from game DVR to skydrive?

Go into the Upload Studio app once inside you can edit your videos and more once completed you then can choose to save to Upload(the on console player videos) or both Upload and Skydrive. Once in your Skydrive you can put the clip anywhere you like.

Make sure you have Upload Studio app installed.

Start a game to take a screen shot doubletap the Nexus button on the controller a pop up will appear.

Press A to save as a screen shot, Press X to save as a video.

Please note the screen shot is taken when you double tap the nexus button I believe the video starts ta that point as well, use upload studio to use screenshots as background and save and share what ever you want to do.

You can use OneDrive. You get 5GB of storage for free.

In the capture settings on the console, you can set it so that captures are automatically uploaded to OneDrive if you like. You can also manually upload multiple captures to OneDrive at once via the Captures app. Also, you can upload an individual capture to OneDrive via the Share menu.

Once uploaded, screenshots will appear in the Pictures\Xbox Screenshots folder inside your OneDrive folder, and videos will appear in Videos\Xbox Game DVR.

I am able to upload screenshots and videos taken only on Xbox game pass games using Xbox's game capture.

The problem with that is enabling Xbox game bar and game dvr is widely known to the pc community to cause poor performance while gaming.

My problem is that before the Game Pass update I was able to upload screenshots and videos of games I purchased from steam and epic store using Nvidia's screen capture.

Can I still upload screenshots and videos taken from games not on Xbox game pass without using Xbox's Game capture?

EDIT: I found the solution... We used to be able to upload content with Xbox app (beta) which updated into the game pass app and Xbox app updated to Xbox Console Companion. However a new app was added to the Microsoft store called Xbox Console Companion
- beta. That is the app that allows you to upload screenshots/videos of games not from Game Pass, Microsoft Store or Xbox Game capture.
