Upgrading Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate

I know that Microsoft offers an upgrade to your Xbox Live Gold subscription to Game Pass Ultimate for a small fee.

I just don't know if I would qualify for this upgrade. Any insight would be greatly helpful.

I currently have a month of PC Game Pass. I also was subscribed to a single month of Game Pass Ultimate in the past when it was offered for $1.

If I purchase a year's worth of Xbox Live Gold, would I be able to convert that year to Game Pass Ultimate?
