Upgrading to ultimate pass for a short period.

Good question! Once you purchase 3 months of Game Pass Ultimate, any time remaining for your Live Gold will be upgraded/converted to Game Pass Ultimate. In your case, since you still have 1 year of Live Gold, it will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate once you purchase 3 months Game Pass Ultimate so you'll get a total of 15 months of Game Pass Ultimate.

Its cutting short because you upgraded to xbox game pass ultimate. Cancel the subscription and it should be good.

Fkmir, if you own an active Game Pass PC subscription and want to upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate, the remaining time of the Game Pass PC subscription will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate in a 3-to-2 ratio, for example, if you have 90 days of Game Pass PC you would get 60 days of Game Pass Ultimate.

Thanks for coming to the forums. If you go Ultimate, you will have Ultimate until 9/21. The first time you upgrade to Ultimate it transfers gold and game pass to Ultimate time but full. So lets say you got gold until 6/21 then you also have a year of game
pass, you will actually have ultimate until 9/22. Once you are enrolled in Ultimate then a gold subscription is converted to Ultimate time if used. Here is a

So in short it would greatly benefit you to upgrade to the game pass Ultimate. If you cancel you will lose all the time you had from gold. Reason is you converted all the time to Ultimate.

Ultimate combines both Gold and Game Pass into one. If you upgrade to Ultimate, it will automatically cancel your other subscriptions as they become irrelevant. You should find that if you had time left on your Gold, this would be reflected in your Ultimate
and the next charge won't be until that period has expired.
