Upgrading to Imperial Edition?

Hello all, bought the standard edition a while back but was wanting to get the Imperial Edition Upgrade, but it states that it's ONLY in a bundle. Is there no way to purchase this now? Or will it be available to buy separately once the game goes live?

So there's an "Imperial Edition" for the ONE.

Does this mean that Imperials are a locked race that you have to purchase seperately if you don't buy the "Imperial Edition"?

No offense, but are the Nords ( Stormcloak Rebels ) racist?

I'm having second thoughts on joining the Stormcloak Rebels( THE NORDS ) , because being an Imperial, I don't know if I should be offended by them hating on the imperials. They always talk about how Skyrim is for the Nords only, so wouldn't that be offensive
to the Argonians, Bretons, High Elves, Imperials, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Khajits, Redguards, Orcs, etc? The Imperial Legion sounds less narrow minded. Imperials !

In the crown store, the in-game cash store, there is the Imperial Pack. You can buy it after you start the game.

You can upgrade to the Imperial (digital) edition in the crown store. There is also the Adventurer's pack which lets you play any race in any alliance (Imperial aside if you don't own the Imperial edition, of course.)

So to answer my own question the only way to play as an Imperial is to buy the Imperial Edition or purchase the "Virtual Upgrade".

So "Imperial" doesn't appear as a race to purchase in the store.

To be honest I'm not sure if I find this encouraging or not.

there is a Digital Imperial Edition Upgrade in the ingame crown store - apparently updates your standard version to imp version. The description says "Includes all the perks of the Digital Imperial Edition. Ride as a proud Imperial alongside a familiar friend."

Gives a bit of choice to those wanting to try the cheap(er) version first!

Digitally, the Imperial Edition Upgrade looks to be 'bundle only' meaning that it can only be acquired by buying the whole bundle, not the individual upgrade. That doesn't mean that won't change in future, but that's the case right now.

Typically, if its availability would change in future (i.e. becoming a separate, purchasable thing) you're looking at a few months from now. But that's just my opinion based on anecdotal evidence.

For now, though, the Imperial Edition Upgrade is bundle-only, so if you want it you would have to purchase the entire bundle.
