    Upgrading my old Xbox One for the One S


    hey all, I will be upgrading my old Xbox One for the One S later this week but I have questions.

    1 - Besides doing a factory reset is there anything else I need to do or know before upgrading?

    2 - Will I lose the progress I have done in my games?

    3 - Is there any issues like overheating or anything else?

    The offer was 30,000 for upgrading from a 360 to xbox one and 50,000 for upgrading from a xbox one to xbox one s.

    When I upgraded from my xbox one to xbox one s I was supposed to receive 50,000 points. I only received 30,000 rewards points.

    The promotion was in November 2016 for upgrading to xbox one s.

    1. You may be aware already, but the two largest things to know about upgrading is the Xbox One S is that the new console supports 4K for video and Blu-ray, as well as having faster processing power. Upgrading my old Xbox One for the One S :)

    2. You will not lose your progress if you sign in with the same Gamertag / profile.

    3. There shouldn't be! If you are having any trouble with ventilation or overheating problems, check out the
    troubleshooting guide for that.

    xbox one and xbox one s

    Xbox One S also lets you stream in 4K quality, the One does not. I used to have a One, but I upgraded to the One S, it performs better and does not overheat like my old one used to.

    My sugestion is to find some old xbox which is out of game and took replacement power supply. I believe you can find one on the some web shop. And even better thing. Xbox one S is very cheap and maybe it is time for upgrade.

    There were two offers running at that time for upgrading. The 50,000 credit offer was only sent to certain members and was not available to everyone. If you did not receive the specific email, you would receive the default offer of 30,000 credits. If I remember
    right, the 50,000 were for upgrading from a 360 to a One S.
    I received the offer for upgrading from an xbox one to a xbox one s. I even spoke to someone before I purchased the xbox one s to confirm how the promotion worked. I upgraded my xbox one to an xbox one s and should have received 50,000.
