    Upgrading a Game


    About a Month ago, I Pre-Ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 (The Standard Edition) and now I want to get the Special Edition and I can't refund it since its been more then 2 weeks and I was wondering if there was another way to upgrade the game from Standard
    to Special. If this is a possible thing, please let me know.

    Assassins Creed 4 on 360 or ONE?

    Upgrading Call of Duty and Battlefield I can understand because of the Multiplayer. But upgrading Assassin's Creed 4...why? In a month's time you've probably done everything there is to do. The only game I'll be upgrading this year is Ghosts.

    It would depend on where you purchased it from. If you purchased it digitally you would have to contact support to see if they can cancel the original order and then you'd have to purchase the limited edition.

    You would have to try contacting support and speak to billing to see if they can do a refund for you so you can buy the special edition. Otherwise, there is no other way to upgrade. Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Since it is still a preorder you can contact xbox support through the link in Smwutches post and they can cancel the preorder for you and then it will allow you to purchase the version that you want.

    if your having trouble using the lijk you can alway try calling in to 18004myxbox, they shoukd be able to refund you and if not i believe they will have an option to purchase the extra content later on. thats what they did with madden

    Call support and they will do the upgrade for you since the game is still in preorder there is no problem with that...

    For this scenario my friend, a direct upgrade is not possible, but actually you can do something.

    Go directly to contact Xbox Support https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us (this is a new support link, more user friendly)

    Explain the situation to the support agent, they can offer you the option for you to purchase the version you wish, and they can help you with a refund right on the spot for the standard version you purchased first

    This will be just a one time exception that they can offer you

    There is no option to upgrade, you can try to get a refund, then buy the version you want. You can also look at the DLC offered in the other versions and see if it's worth purchasing it individually, or waiting for a sale.
