    Upgraded to Xbox One X but...


    I took the plunge and picked up a second hand Xbox One X 1 TB console to replace my first generation Xbox One, I've been playing on the X for the last month and last week I eventually got around to installing the older console on the upstairs TV to use whilst
    the main TV is busy.

    I noticed last week that the latest game captures from the X have never been added to my captures on my online account.

    Also the X seems to see updates every few days, today it had a 3.7gb update that seemed to apply ok (but stated failed in the system settings area) and it removed my family accounts which I've re-signed back in. Should I be seeing so many updates or is there
    possibly something wrong with this machine?

    So basically my account shows "No recent Activity" for achievements yet I can view Far Cry 5 achievements from only a couple of days ago. Never had issues before and I'm now wondering what's going on? Does my X have problems?

    Thanks for reading. Hopefully someone can shed light on the problems.

    Upgraded from Xbox One to Xbox One X

    You would either need to buy the game on your account or your friend will need to set your new console as their Home console.

    Upgraded to Xbox One X but...

    Hi, it sounds like it is enrolled in the Insider Program. Download the Xbox Insider Hub app from store, on to the One X. Open the app, go to settings, manage devices and remove it.

    You may get a prompt for a full install, just follow the instructions.

    Thank you once again for this help, the console didn't state it was in the program program as such but in the console info section it did state a special release number. I have enrolled and de-enrolled the console which I think will work following your advice.
    I haven't seen another update for a couple of days now so fingers crossed it's all good.

    I have and xbox one s and i was thinking bout upgrading to the xbox one x i think u really need the upgrade if your xbox doesnt have alot of storage space as i will be aiming for the 1tb or higher with an xbox one x

    It's just xbox one

    With one x gets HD upgrades when available

    If you want you can upgrade to S or to X but it's not nessesary. Although i upgraded my first xbox one to S back in the time and now on Black Friday i upgraded to X so it's depend on the person i think.

    The Xbox One X is absolutely worth it if you want to play games in 4k. The One S only allows you to watch content in 4k, but you can't play any Xbox enhanced games. If you don't own either an S or an X, or own an original Xbox One, I would definitely
    recommend the X. If you already own an S, then it's a little harder to push the upgrade. I had the Day One Edition Xbox and upgraded to the S. But once I saw games running in 4k, I upgraded again to the X. Totally worth it in my opinion.
