Upgraded to XBOX One S... now many games won't load or play correctly

Weird problem I'm having.

I just received my new XBOX One S 1TB system in the mail today. Set everything up, downloaded update. Plugged my external drive into the system. Went to go play Madden 17 (after inputing the included download code to 'buy' it). Game starts up - I hear 'EA
Sports, its in the game" beginning.

Then it gets weird. No montage video of Gronkowski - just a white screen that says press any button. Press button. Seems to load, but with no sound at all. Go to play an instant game. Freezes and kicks me out to the home screen.

Loaded up Rise of the Tomb Raider and Titanfall - both games load, but with no sound.

Tried playing Overwatch. Inserted the disc. Game starts up. After initial splash screen just goes to a black screen and never leaves that.

Same thing happens with We Happy Few, The Division, Rocket League, and many more.

Some games play perfectly fine. #IDARB, Geometry Wars, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, and more

Not sure what is going on. Apps work fine. System sounds work fine. Recognizes 4K. Errors persist when I force it to 1080p.

Upgraded to the Xbox One S and all games will not sync old saves

I got upgraded to the Xbox one S and right now its an absolute nightmare. I try and load all my old games and every time i log in it says it is unable to sync and will not let me play online and every game has to start from square one. Please help i have
tried everything to fix the issue and have had no success.

 

3D Blu-ray movies no longer play in 3D mode

I'm also encountering the same problem. I recently upgraded from an Xbox One to Xbox One S. On the Xbox One I watched many 3D Blu-rays and never had a problem. I tried to watch Zootopia 3D on my One S and the menu is 3D but the movie plays in 2D. I then
tried Edge of Tomorrow 3D (which I had previously watched in my old Xbox One) and it worked correctly. I have not tried other discs yet, but it appears some work while others don't. Changing settings on my Xbox or TV didn't make any difference, and my Xbox
One S says all video formats are supported by my system.

Sorry to hear about the game trouble you're having. Have you possibly tried re-installing one of the games to your internal storage to see if there is any change with your access to the game?

 

I've got a mint condition copy of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare that will never ever load past 80%. Sometimes it doesnt even get that far. Had absolutely no issues installing it on my original Xbox One

It appears I had a dud console. After going through tech support and trying the offline method to updating the console - it didn't fix my issues.

Ended up taking it back and exchanging it for a new console. Everything works perfectly now.

Such a weird issue.
