    Hey gang...here's the scenario:

    Got a new Xbox One S for my kiddo, who was already using a Gold membership on his 360. During the setup, used the same email address (for him), but opted to change the gamertag to a different name (seemed like a good time).

    Now, however, it doesn't seem he has access to his Gold account (can't join games or parties), and trying to ascertain what his Gold account status is on the Xbox web support pages is not yielding any answers.

    I can login and see his account on Xbox.com (existing email address and new gamertag), and it shows all his recent activity and achievements (from Xbox One), but I can't locate any settings to associate his existing Gold membership to the new gamertag.

    Any suggestions?

    An odd question

    There is no way to transfer anything from one account to another.

    If you want to use the remainder of the gold subscription time, it will have to be on this gamertag. If you want to use gold subscription time on your new account, you'll have to purchase it for that account.

    XBL gold account not registering

    I upgraded to Xbox One from 360 and now my XBL gold account isnt registering so I can play certain parts of Destiny (strikes, crucible, ect). It says requirements not met and promps me to go gold. When I go to the subscription section it says Im at my limit
    of gold subscriptions, which I understand as meaning I have Xbox Live Gold on my Xbox One. Any help?

    This doesnt work as apparently they cant transfer a Gold subscription remainder from one gamertag to another when the gold theyre trying to transfer is from a prepaid 12+2 Month :(
