Upgraded from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, do I have 2 Xbox Live Gold Accounts Now?

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have a valid XBOX live account, and while watching a Netflix movie, it will seemingly randomly kick me out of netflix and prompt me to sign in to a valid XBOX live account. I'll give the networking troubleshooting suggestions

This is more of the message, since it just happened AGAIN... "Upgrade to Xbox Live Gold. To instantly watch movies, TV episodes from Netflix on your Xbox 360 console, you need an Xbox Live Gold Membership. Upgrade to Xbox Live Gold Membership now. Now
with Xbox Live Gold you can (bulleted list)..."

Then there are two selection boxes: Upgrade to Gold and Switch Profiles.

We click Switch Profiles, and our Xbox Sign In page appears with our current account already logged in.

We select our account and can then resume our Netflix movie that we were watching.

I agree with you! I am super irritated with Microsoft... They have gotten rid of their Xbox live gold family pack for Xbox 360 so you now have to pay $60 for each account or upgrade to the new Xbox One, or in my case 2 Xbox One's to replace the current 2
Xbox 360's that we have so my son and husband can play in different rooms or different games at the same time. Now I have a 10 year old upset with me because I promised him I would upgrade to the family pack so he could have his own user profile... THANK YOU

if you upgrade to an Xbox One you can use the same account on the Xbox One, all you need to know is the account credentials for your Xbox Live Account with Gold used on the 360 and enter the same on the Xbox One, your profile will be downloaded and will
have the Avatar, gamerscore and subscriptions etc. The same account can be used on both consoles.

Something similar happened to me too. I just bought mx Xbox 360 today and wanted to log in to Xbox Live as I had a download code for Crysis 2 along with codes for 3 months Xbox Live Gold membership. I opened an Xbox Live account via my pc and upgraded it
using the codes for Gold membership. Everything went well, in my pc I can log in to Xbox Live account and see that I have a 3 months Gold membership.

Now when I tried to sign in to the Xbox Live via my Xbox 360, it says that " Thie Windows Live ID is associated with a different gamertag. Enter another Windows Live ID and password".

What does that actually mean?
