    Hey all,

    So I upgraded my EVGA 9800GT to an MSI GT 730 2GB under the impression that I would be able to use DVR, as the hardware requirements state: "NVIDIA: GeForce 600 series or later", yet even though the drivers and software are up to date, the
    hardware requirements error still comes up.

    There goes $80...

    My GPU is Nvidia Gt 1030 so later than Geforce 600.
    So why my game says your hardware does not support Game DVR?

    Game DVR does not accept MSI Radeon R7 240

    in the specs it says that Game DVR should work with Radeon R7. Upgraded today to MSI Radeon R7 240, but it still says that my hardware is not compatible. What is wrong with Game DVR on Windows 10??

    Hi

    That looks like the cause of your issues. The GT 730 is an extremely low end card, not meant for gaming.

    It needs upgrading to at least a GTX 1060/1660 or RTX 2060.

    Hi,

    The GT 730 is a desktop graphics card. Unfortunately NVIDIA ended support for this card - and nearly all the 7xx series cards - back in October last year. This is why you can't install the driver. There is little point trying to install display drivers beyond version 472.12

    Note that if your game is saying you need DirectX 12 you're out of luck. The old GT 730 feature level is DX11. You can't run games that require DX12.

    Hi,

    No doubt you've already guess it, you don't meet the minimum requirements. The issue is with your GPU. The GT 730 is a very basic graphics card which is not meant for gaming.

    The good news is that your CPU is capable. You need to upgrade your graphics card. If you bought this PC as a pre-build it will likely be have a weak power supply, so you may need to upgrade this first.
