    Upgrade Xbox Ultimate from Live Gold


    I’ve been on hold to Xbox support for 1.5 hours so giving this a go as im really bored of Larry now!!!

    I have 7 months left on my Xbox Gold and im looking to upgrade to Ultimate gamepass for £1. I have not claimed the offer before.

    Should I:

    A) Go buy another two years of Live Gold (£99 ish) then upgrade for £1. This should give me 2.8 years of ultimate.

    B) or go buy a one year Ultimate Pass (£99) and get whatever this gives me?

    Hi,

    Once you upgraded to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold will be carried over to Xbox game pass ultimate. For example, if you have Xbox live gold for a year and you upgraded it to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold and xbox game pass for
    console and PC will also be good for 13 months (12 months Xbox live gold+1 month upgrade Xbox game pass Ultimate). If you cancelled the Xbox game pass ultimate, automatically your Xbox live will also be cancelled since it is already merged to the Ultimate.
    You need to contact Xbox Support to reinstate your lost membership.

    Hi Randy,

    Both Xbox live gold and gamepass are included in ultimate, so you don’t need to purchase these subscriptions separately.

    On your account, you should be given the option to upgrade to ultimate, if not just purchase ultimate as this will automatically upgrade your existing membership.

    Gamepass is £7.99 a month and Xbox live gold is £6.99 a month, so worth upgrading if use both to save money and have a 2-in-1, Ultimate is £10.99

    I you upgrade to ultimate game pass you keep all the current time on your Xbox live gold with no deductions. If you add time to Xbox live gold it will add what ever you purchase. The reduced rate is if you upgrade to Ultimate then either purchase/win/or
    are gifted Xbox live gold time when added there is a conversion rate.

    If you want to extend your Xbox live gold first then convert to ultimate it works out as the best value.

    Hi there,

    since you already had Ultimate before then if you decide to upgrade to Ultimate and you currently have 12m Gold, then the 12m Gold will be converted (via a specific ratio) to Ultimate, I think it's 12m Gold convert into 4m of Ultimate, more details can be
