Upgrade deals from Microsoft?

my friend recently got an email from Microsoft saying he could get an xbox one, controller and 2 games for 249.99 as a valued customer. Has anyone else seeN a deal like this? I've had my 360 since 2006 and looking to upgrade at this price

You have to make sure that they are doing the upgrade deal. The only way they will do the upgrade deal is if you buy a game that comes out before the Xbox One on 360 and then when the system releases upgrade to that version. Both games you mentioned do
not come out until like 4 months after the Xbox One release so the upgrade deal will not be honored. They will not do the upgrade deal for games that are on both systems once the Xbox One is released.

 

Missing Destiny TTK Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade in package deal

No no no no no, why wont it read!. Just look at the picture!

Yes, I purchased the Legendary Edition. However it showed that it contained the upgrade when I purchased it. This was because of an error made by Xbox. This has been confirmed by Bungie. The upgrade has been removed from the deal afterwards so if you look
at the package now it no longer shows it. Xbox Support (chat) also confirmed that I should receive the upgrade, since I bought the deal when it showed it contained the upgrade and I can prove this! (I posten a ref, but somebody removed it?).

I also had a copy (disk) of Destiny with expansion I and II. But not TTK. The the gold deal came along. I checked out both deals in the Store. I could buy TTK + Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade or Destiny Legendary Edition (containing Destiny, CE, I, II,
TTK + Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade). Only a small difference in the price so I purchased the second deal and sold my hard copy of Destiny. (I have two Xbox One consoles at home, so purchasing it digitaly was a plus) I would have bought the first deal
if the second deal did not contain the Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade!

 

The deal is only for people who receive the e-mail and only 1 can be bought at that price

Asda apparently are doing a Xbox with a xmen bluray and halo master chief for £249 in store if that's any help?

 

Yea was tempted by that deal, then found out about the email codes going around and thought an extra controller would be great. Very good prices now

Yeah there is good deals to be had shop around and I'm sure you'll be picking up a new Xbox sooner rather than later !!

 

Whats the news on how much longer the 360 will be fully supported? it was about 3 years after the release of the X1 so we are halfway there. I am guessing as times goes by, there will be more deals... but TBH... any time you waste hoping for a $50 price
cut is $50 in time wasted you can be on the X1

 

I'm considering buying a new XB1 for my bedroom so I can play online with my brother without having to use split-screen. So, I would love to see a deal such as this drop into my inbox.

 

Would that 249.99 price include trade in, and can you get say. The Halo MCC bundle, or even the COD AW 1TB bundle at that price?

I appreciate the offer and think it's great they're rewarding dudes, but they're coming at me with the wrong games/incentives. I will get a One... but it'll be a perfect storm of games and value that'll make me do it. I'm looking at May. Next month. =)

 

I was actually talking pounds, there was an offer floating round similar to this, where you got evolve, master chief collection and extra controller for £249.99. However, the offer you got in the email would still be great, haven't received anything yet.
I'm a bit like you Argontheos, may wait untill halo 5 is out, but this deal (if I get one) could tempt me
